Pink Floating Candles

Many times we go into a home and see how bland and dull that place is. There must be a way to make the play look much better without overdoing it. People often put too much art work or weird home decor around in order to help out, but normally a few candles could do just fine.

Pink floating candles are often all it takes to turn a average kitchen, dining room, or bathroom, into a great place with accent colors and centerpieces. These candles also serve as a function as they provide light and a pleasant aroma if needed. Using them as decor alone works fine though and even better if you add some reed diffusers to the room.

One may be thinking that pink floating candles are too expensive and they will need too many of them and it will look bad. This is not the case as most floating candles are very affordable and it only takes a few to do the job. Sure, you can add too many and look cheesy, but just a few will do wonders for a outdated or dull room that needs a boost.

Most times stores have clearance prices on certain colors of arrangements. Pink is quite common, so it may not be on sale as much as other colors that do not sell as well. You can still get a good deal if you take your time and look around for a bargain. Most pink floating candles will run less than any type of artwork or decorations that you would have added otherwise.

Candles can also be a great way to stage a home for selling. Real estate agents love to sell homes with fresh smells and great looking decor that helps the home sell itself. Colored floating candles are a great way to help achieve this desired goal and everyone wants to get just a little more money for their home, so this is a cheap way to improve your sales price.

I recommend just taking the time and spending a little bit of money and you will be amazed at the results. It takes a little effort, but the return is well worth the work, either with the candles or the reed diffusers.

Beautiful floating candle arrangements

Every time we go into someones home we take away something that is really cool.  The last thing I saw was a nice looking floating candle arrangement.  While the picture above does not represent what I saw, it is the only picture that would work. Floating candles can make a great arrangement that can be placed in many rooms in the home.  They look good in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room and so on.  Do not be afraid to try them in the bedroom either.

I also want to talk a little about candle parties.  This is where people will get together and sell various types of candles.  They are often very good quality and look nice. However, they can sometimes be very expensive. Sometimes the host of these parties can sell hundreds of dollars in candles and get some good perks themselves.  This is a great place to try floating candles for the first time.  They may look different than what you are used too, but they burn well and smell good like the rest of the candles.

Most candle parties have anywhere between 6 -15 people there. Anymore can get crowded and people do not have enough places to sit.  Be sure to have enough snacks for everyone that shows up too.  People will normally buy something if they see you are putting forth lots of effort and trying to show a  good array of candles.  They may even buy a candle or two as a gift.

Now let us talk about some of the benefits of floating candles.  They provide light, a good aroma, and a cool look to your home all at the same time.  Some people say that it gives their home a little extra value and appeal if they are trying to sell it too.  Overall, the choice is yours on whether or not you want to add some candle arrangements in your home, but I think it is a good idea.

Using Home Decor To Brighten Up Your Home

There are many reasons why we want to update our homes, maybe we are tired of the current look, maybe we need to replace worn out things, or maybe we need to increase the value of the home for a recent sale.  Some people buy new things, but I think just getting new home decor, such as floating candles, can really make a difference.

I like to first get some new pictures or paintings to hang in the family room or living room.  These pieces of art can add much value if they are placed right. Also, many people may see that as a sign you are taking care of your home, which will help you sell your home better in the long run.  Next, I go to the dining room and set up a centerpiece made from floating candles.  These are typically used more for decoration and decor than actual candle use.  They look great and you can make so many designs it is not funny. You need to try it a few times before you get the hang of it though.

If you want to burn your candles, I recommend going with a single or double candle that won’t melt too fast.  These candles are generally more solid and can often burn for many hours without showing tons of use.  It depends on the look you are going for, combined with the desired use of candles.

I have also found that candles are a great way to hide pet odor.  These burn and emit a pleasant smell to cover up for your cat or dog.
